Cassadaga

Cassadaga Spiritual Camp
Cassadaga is called "The South's Oldest Spiritual Community" and is believed to be a vortex or portal site - where the spirit plane and the earth plane are much closer than usual - very similar to the famed Sedona in Arizona.   This is a tiny, quaint little town with small, neat 1920's style houses, most with small gardens of herbs and flowers growing in the front yards.  The residents include some of the best psychics, clairvoyants, and healers in the country, and most of the houses have small shingles advertising the services that each particular person has to offer.  Even skeptics who visit here and get readings come away with stories of really memorable and pertinent experiences.

When arriving in the town of Cassadaga, the "feeling" of the place just seems different - some use the word "serene."  Because it is believed to be a portal site, paranormal phenomena seems to abound here, and many visitors have come away with pictures of orbs, ectoplasma, and shadows.   It seems that this type of  energy is everywhere in this town, and all one has to do is go around snapping pictures to get results.  Many report the feeling of being watched or followed only to find nothing there when they turn to see what it is.

The town of Cassadaga is very small, and contains a hotel, a few bookstores and a deli.  This is the type of place where you should  park the car and just walk and soak in the atmosphere.   After dark, many great ghost pictures have been taken in and around the hotel, and in the surrounding countryside.

Next time you find yourself in central Florida, Cassadaga is a must-see destination!  Readings cost from $35 to $50 for 30 minutes, and Spirit Tours are offered every Friday and Saturday for $10.

Cassadaga is off I-4 between Orlando and Daytona Beach.
